English Leather Lime vintage 1971

I just broke out my English Leater Lime aftershave that my high school sweetheart gve me for Valentines Day 1971. It still smells good !!!

Is this some kind of record, and should I get an award?

Sweet. I haven't smelled that scent since probably 1978.

I just scored some Old Spice Lime cologne. Put a little on and was surprised how much I liked it, and how well it had survived the rolling decades.

What kicked off the Lime craze back then, anyway?

I'm going through a big lime phase at the moment and scored some vintage Old Spice Lime Aftershave and Cologne. What a great scent.

I can remember a lime soap in Australia in the mid to late 70's called Lime Fresh. It was lime green with darker green wavy striped through it from memory. It had a real catchy advertisment tune. I'd love to find a few bars of the Lime Fresh soap
