Hello all
I recently bought my first vintage Gillette from UK Ebay. It was an excellent price and the seller was a Gent. It appears to be an English Tech rectangular slot head paired with what looks like a ball end handle from a Gillette GoodWill. The Gillette Logo is also unusual in that it just says Gillette without the diamond or arrow.
It came with an authentic and much used British Army steel mirror and original fibre case. My hunch is that it saw active service, and the pieces have been together as a set since the 40's or early 50's. Probably used in WW2 or Korea. It's a lovely authentic set which just pours out history and unrecorded experiences. Pics to follow
