End caps for a '58 (D3) Super Speed?

I recently picked up a D3 "TV Special" Super Speed (my birth year razor!); it's in great shape and a good shaver, but it is missing the end caps. Is it worth trying to find/install replacements, or should I just let it be?

I wouldn't recommend it if you're just looking to restore value to the razor. You'd end up putting more time and sweat equity into the razor than it'd be worth. Also, if you're just planning on using it then there's no real need for them either (not that they serve no function at all, but rather that you can live without them).

All that said, if you're more interested in it from a "project" perspective, then why not?
