Test lathered the brush again this morning and it only lost 1 & 1/2 hairs (half one was a short one). My husband used it for his shave tonight and it didn't lose any, so things are looking up.

The bad news is that my Emperor 3 kept shedding. The great news is that I send it back to Progress Shaving Brush (Vulfix) Ltd and they sent me a replacement that arrived a couple of days ago. I gave it a couple of test lathers and used it today. It has not lost a single hair.
