EMIR from Solingen, Germany

My newest EMIR came last week and seeing Jake's threads motivated me to take some pics myself. Maybe I should stop buying pens and razors and get a new camera, but anyway here goes.

This razor seems to have never been used, the box and wrap have some wear so its condition is more of a near mint.

I haven't seen one with the white tip yet,

The build quality and plating seems to be a notch below some of my earlier models, still quite good though.

I'm guessing at around 1960, maybe someone can help with the date.

It's another differential head, one side being more aggressive than the other, I've been on a quest searching for these models lately.

The left side has the more aggressive blade gap

I like this shot with the shadows contrasting with the light. (wish the whole razor head was shone) Well done.

Interesting. By accident my Futur has this feature! 100% positive that's not what it was supposed to do.

Three piece, that plastic knob is firmly stuck to the handle and doesn't do anything except help with the grip.

Too late ... I saw a razor in a pic on another thread and I'm already hooked looking for German razors , from what can only be described as Art Deco looking .....very nice too
