That's bad...even our kids are 'sounding off' about the ice cream truck man being affected by inflation & raising prices. :eek2:

Funny Ice Cream Story is local Dairy Queen use to do FREE PUP CUPs, the store was about 1/2 mile from home. Use to take my Welch Corgi there. After hooking her to leash all I need say was PUP Cup time. Corgis became Bloodhound on the hunt knowing exactly the way to Dairy Queen.

One day we showed up, per my norm I tied the Corgi to Cement Bench, and asked for a PUP CUP. Girl on duty said you know we charge for the now? I said no but what is price, she replied $0.41. I gave her the exact change.

Then I ask why you charging Free Pup Cup Policy, she was squeamish about reply. Apparently some Seniors came regularly to DQ to get the FREE Pup cups, and never had dog with them. Some even did Drive Up with no Dog, saving their Dog was home?

They apparently had no Dog, and were caught in act eating FREE Pup Cups in back parking lot of Dairy Queen.

Senior are weird like most groups of people, pretending to be dog owner to get Dairy Queen treat.

My kids are the same. I explained to them how much ice cream you could buy at the supermarket for the cost of two at the pool. They chose to wait and get from the shop on the way home. They were eating ice cream for weeks. They did stop short of swearing about it thankfully.

These videos show why "no child left behind" programs DO NOT work.

These videos also show that unless your on a three day bender, you wonna unerstand what they be saying.

If this "speaking" was converted to text.. I dont think a PHARMACIST or Doctor could read it.

Sometimes I wonder if learning to read Arabic and/or Farsi should be a requirement for being a doctor or pharmacist just because some of them have so much trouble writing in cursive. But with as rushed as they are it’s sometimes understandable why they have such poor penmanship. Though medical school should have legible penmanship as a requirement for entry and required throughout the program

Well when I was Kid, if I acted up my Mother had no problem beating me with Belt.

Later in School recall in Shop Class if you broke Safety Rule. Your reward was being SWATTED with Board of Education.

Today I see in News young kind doing horrible crimes.

Reason tools to punish, are now called child abuse.

Technology solved that problem, at least here. Electronic medical records. Nobody writes anymore, you type or you dictate.

im impressed anyone could actually understand what the kid was saying. ENUNCIATE.

That's the accent up there. I lived in Manchester and Lancashire for the best part of a decade and you can hear a faint trace of it in my own accent, but even I would have to concentrate if a local was going full tilt like that little girl. To be fair, I am not sure they always understood each other!

I know a lot of places are going digital these days. Though having a backup (digital or physical) would be a good idea. Especially with what happened to the US Army in 1972(?) with the fire at their records storage facility in St. Louis.

It has made life easier. You can read the notes for one. 20 years ago as an intern I had to run to the basement, grab xray's for morning report. Run to the medical records and tried to find old records. Now everything is a click away.

I vote that girl for president, she clearly knows how to balance a budget, even at her age, I think she'd do better then these old fossils we have in office. 🤣

Then when she's president, she puts out a presidential address that begins with this...

And now that you all have smartly elected me your president and chief, the first thing I am going to do, is instill a mandatory market cap on ice cream. What ice cream cost you back in 1955, it will cost you today. And if any ice cream driver infringes on that policy, I will pull their license personally. That is all.

And then I raise my arm and I say, you go girl! Wooooo! 🤣
