In order to level out that frown someone is going to have to do a lot of work making the razor's blade "Smaller" to actually level out the frown. Good luck and enjoy the razors.

I just don't think i can consign it to just the display case; it's such a beauty, and i'd like to get it functional.:crying:

Hmm. Interesting. What causes a razor to develop a frown?
Is it from improper honing?

I had a chat about honing razors with my old (now retired) barber, who first cut my hair over 40 years ago. He said he always held the razor at a 45-degree angle to the direction of travel on the stone to avoid "making the razor unhappy." He went on to explain that a straight (90-degree) pass would cause the center of the blade to hone-out faster, making a frown.

I hope he is right . . . :001_rolle
