why do people go to mexico and argentina and places like that to shoot birds? Are there fewer regulations and no limit or something?
I would think a Spanish duck call is essential; otherwise the birds won't understand.Sergio,
Is it substantially different from the experience of hunting them in the US?

Wrong. Remember, these birds only winter down in Mexico. They were most likely hatched and raised in Canada. You'll need either an English or French Canadian duck call for proper communication.
That explains a lot! The Brooklyn accent is not as effective as I hoped.

Sergio,
I assume that isn't your guide's dog in the background right?
if you are game, I would love to hear a lot more details. Is it substantially different from the experience of hunting them in the US?
Hmmm Jim. I find a Brooklyn accent works just fine in all regions getting and attracting attention!
Nice bag Sergio! Envious of where bluebird conditions are ideal!

Sergio,
Thank you SO much for writing that up. It's fascinating. Some of the things are similar to the US (waking up at 4am and the guide doing the calling) and some are quite different. For instance the way you structure the Limit of ducks to which you're entitled.
Again, thanks for sharing that.
