Firstly, I have been growing a beard since the beginning of October. It's my first beard in about a decade, and, aside from the surprise of the "touch of grey," it has come in quite well.
Nevertheless, I've been using a beard balm to soften the hairs and contain the beard. While researching different beard balms, I've found some companies state that their dry cologne line can be used as an aftershave.
That said, I've never used dry cologne, nor heard of this. For those of you who have, is there any truth to this? I've always preferred the liquid, alcohol-based splashes.
