Dried up shaving cream order

I ordered three tubes of shaving cream from Best Grooming Tools: Speick, Tabac and Cremo Cream. When I opened up the order the Speick was so dried up it was solidified in the tube and the Tabac was so hard I had to squeeze with two hands to get an inch out of the tube. Needless to say, Best Grooming Tools' stock is old and I won't be ordering from there any more. The Cremo was OK.

Why don't you send it back?

Sounds like old stock to me. Shoot them an email and let them know. I'm sure they I'll take care of you.

+3, What they said, BTW Speick Cream gets very hard during the hot weather for some reason, but the others should have been fine unless it's old stock. If you read the box that the Speick cream comes in you'll see that it specifically says the shaving cream starts to solidify, yes solidify, at temps above 30C/86F. You can even check their website for yourself.

yep, reach out and touch someone. never bottle anger in. and don't be anonymous. That's what great about stores you can shop at in person but alas.... not everyone has a pasteur's pharmacy by them (tee hee).
anyhow, these days companies have been much better with customer service, especially many of the vendors recommended here. I'm sure your issue can be resolved. Personally I'd place a phone call as its more personal.

everyone deserves a second chance. in the end, they may win you over and have you singing their praises.

If not cut the tube open and empty the hard contents into a bowl, get your finger wet and shape it and you'll have yourself a new Speick soap puck!
I do this when my creams try up, works just as well and its actually easier to get a lather because you require less product

Not to pile on, but you need to contact the vendor and give them the opportunity to take care of the situation before you go on a public forum to bash a vendor.

Contact the vendor about the defective products. I am sure you will get some fresh product once you do this.
