I have read the US postings about the love of Harris soaps.
It must be something in the water.
For me, Trumpers is by far the better quality and Harris is a poor second choice. I find the Harris lather to lacks any density and protection.
But we all like different things. Thank goodness.
Trumpers by a mile.
Trumpers has customer service and Harris, well, they have a royal warrant.
I've notices this as well... I've not been please with D.R. Harris, specific to customer service performance
I can only compare the soaps and I think they are performance wise the same.
As far as customer service goes I've never dealt with harris however trumpers? I ordered some items to be shipped to the U.S and was charged about $50 shipping for about a $100 order and after no goods a month later was specifically lied to about shipping methods and tracking. The order showed up after about 6 weeks and had been shipped the slowest possible method.

No offense, Matt, but I think the question is about which soap actually performs better, not which company is more willing to give its stuff out for free. (Sorry, but the whole idea that we should feel entitled to free samples is anathema to me. If a company gives them out, that's great, but I do not believe it is fair to chastise a company just because it does not).
Neil, I don't know if you saw the part about him (and me) offering repeatedly to PAY for samples without a response, but no one was asking them to give us anything. I think it's absurd for companies to expect to sell items without providing samples (whether complimentary or for a fee).
