Does anyone know why D.R. Harris dropped "American" from their bay rum line? Just curious.

I have never seen the word “American” in any of their Bay Rum labels. Are you able to post an image?

I don’t have a picture but this is text from DR Harris’ website:
A traditional aftershave made from piquant, aromatic oils with the true fragrance of Bay Oil. This fragrance used to be known as American Bay Rum and blends exceptionally well with our D.R. Harris Bay Rum Hair Tonic.

I remember having a bottle years ago with the word “American”

I don't know why they changed the name, but it is the finest bay rum I've ever smelled.
