If I only used a single soap, I guess I could get by with only two brushes to allow time between uses for the brush to dry. However, as I use creams, croaps, soft soaps and hard pucks, I find having a brush collection (badger, boar, horsehair, and synthetic) allows me to have the perfect brush for any soap. If I had to narrow the collection to only two, I would pick my VP Leonhardy 26mm silvertip badger and my 26mm Turn n Shave Tuxedo synthetic. They both have great face feel and density.
