Anyone try it out? How is it for a face wash/moisturizer?

Tried my wife's dove soap a while back on my face. Didn't like it. It dried my face a bit. I'm sure it's better for guys with beards or guys that shave once every two weeks.
When I was a teenager I used the Dove as a shaving soap with a cartridge razor; worst mistake ever! I think the only thing worst is using the Colgate shaving foam in a can. Painful.

Good for the body...not great for the face...I would recommend a good face soap as they are designed for the more delicate skin of the face.
I like the shower gel, not so keen on the bar soap. For bar soap I have been using Grandma's Lye soap. Very simple pure tallow and lye soap.
