Double Ring

what a week it has been...been looking to get a single ring for the past few months. had a few close calls on ebay, but no luck

then all of a sudden i picked up a nice single ring from a B&B member and another one off the ebay.

then, this thing appears...a double ring (i am pretty sure at least) in a lot of 5 other razors...snatched this up...woohoo cant wait for it to come in.

So not only was it a nice find, it was a nice steal! I keep hoping to find one in an antique shop or tucked away unnoticed in a lot. Those are about the only two conditions under which I think I'll ever own one. Maybe someday ...

Be sure to post some before and after photos if you clean it up. I have a feeling that one will shine beautifully with a bit of work. And, again, excellent find!

yep, i was pretty pleased myself...it worked out to $6.67 per razor shipped. not bad for a razor over 100 years old! the SS looks like it is in really good shape as well, and i will most likely sell of the GEMs.

Congratulations! I've gotten some of my better razors the same way, when they flew under the radar as part of a lot. Never spotted a double ring, though. Let us know how it cleans up.

Are you guys sure it's a double ring?
I've seen a few french razors that were designed as double rings, but were not.

Congratulations, but don't sell the GEMs before you try them. You wouldn't be the first person to find that GEMs are your favourite razor.
