As has been stated above these are great razors (I might have to bust one out for this weekend). Not in, but the winners should be very satisfied.

Mine came in yesterday’s mail. You can’t really tell from online pictures. It fooled me a bit. the head isn’t way larger than the double edge safety razors. The handle is much smaller than what we see today
So, first shave: the Gem blade is indeed very sharp. I got more feedback from the alum bloc than I’ve gotten in a long time. Two passes and some touch ups got me to a nice DFS. It will take practice to develop the habit of keeping the right angle. But even on the first shave I had an enjoyable shave
