Used a Dorco blade yesterday and today. Not really impressed with it yesterday, after a two day growth cycle. It performed "okay" in my Gillette SS. But today, with slight growth, it performed pretty poorly. Along with Merkur blades, I'd have to give Dorcos my "poor performance" rating.

i actually took off 5 days growth one time with a dorco 300 lol.. was not pleasant..
Wasn't a star performer for me either. Ok but not great. will retry later with something other than my SS.
The 300's actually performed ok in my R41. By far nowhere near my favorite shave but livable. The 301's on the other hand were one of the worst blades I've ever used,right along with Derbys. Now I know how it would feel to be stranded on a deserted island shaving with a rusty bayonet

For me, it was reverse. The 300 was a really bad blade. Not sharp and even not gentle.
But the 301 is a real good blade. After Feather und ASP these blades are number 3 in my ranking. I ordered them from amazon and was really impressed about the performance in my razors.

Were they the 300s or 301s? Like Cholli, I find the 300s tend to be a rough blade (would use them if i needed a shave and nothing else around) and the 301s to be a decent blade not super sharp but a very smooth blade and very little irritation.
I've tried the 301's and they certainly were not as sharp as other blades. I could feel alot of tugging.
Got some razor burn as well. Good thing it was in a sampler pack, I won't touch them again.

Well for the price, the 301 is not BAD. I use it in a Weishi in a pinch and it can give a BBS when used for the final ATG. I do not like it on lots of growth in my EJ however.
With a 301 blade I get six excellent shaves. For me, they are comparable with Trig blades from Pakistan. And with buying Dorco from South Korea we can support the fight against the communism from North Korea.
