I will accept the prescribed punishment- Edge gel and a bic 2 blade (pink):w00t:

Are you talking about those disposable 2 bladed bics? If so I have to say that is just cruel and unusual punishment. Especially if you need to use the thing for more than one shave! That almost requires a :a46: (really we need smily with a razor blade cutting the poor guy)

C&E

The blurb below is from the Baekgaard website.

Toiletry Kit - Tobacco Brown. 9“ x 5“ x 5.5“. Brown microfiber with black leather trim. The lining is vinylized woven plaid for water and stain resistance. The toiletry kit has a unique design allowing it to be opened in a manner that permits the user to see all contents in the bag. In addition, this piece has a unique zipped opening producing a compartment for separate storage in the bottom section of the piece.

The list price for this bag is 70.00 at C&E plus shipping - I purchased it on sale for 20.00 plus shipping. If I had ordered this at full price it would be sent back, While it is well made from upper range material I am extremely skeptical of the cost of these type of products. I feel that it is a 20.00-30.00 dollar bag in my estimation and as such a good value. All stitching, zippers and fabric where as expected insofar as fit and finish. While claiming to be unique, the design is a standard Dopp kit with the addition of a small bottom compartment.

As a rule I operate under the assumption that no one give prizes for suffering with out a product that I need (or want) so I usually have quite a range of items packed with me for a trip, this bag is slightly smaller than the one I had previously used. I was able to fit all the items is this bag if I packed it rather than casually tossing them in. In other words it took 50 seconds rather than 20 seconds to assemble- I travel quite a bit and as a rule leave everything packed up so this is not a great concern or a deal killer for me. One criticism of this bag is the lack of a loop or grab strap to pick it up when full- I cannot pick it up with one hand off the counter.

I plan on keeping this bag but I am still looking…….

Check out WIlson's House of Leather and suede. They have some nice shave bags for sale ranging from $19.99-$39.99. I bought one for $28, that opens us on the top like a doctor's bag and is made of a nice cowhide grain leather. The $39.99 is a bit bigger but its a shiny lambskin which is not durable. Had an old leather shavebag I bought at Robbins in NY in 1985 for $10. Last year my Phytomer aftershave leaked and now it smells like lemon marine creature, plus now that I brush shave I prefer something a bit more roomierto cary my toiletries. Will donate it to church White Elephant sale.
For those of you who travel internationally,as of yesterday due to the foiled terrorist attempt in London, you may not be allowed to carry your Dopp bags and toiletries in your carry on. Be wise, pack it well to avoid leaks, or ignore my advice and throw away your TH, GFT, Taylor's, etc shave creams aftershaves, edts, balms & colognes in the trashbin. Those who sift through them will be loking and smelling good at our expense-bladerunner

Brookstone carries a roll-up bag out of codura nylon that is excellent....I've used mine for over 7yrs & you can wash it in a sink-o-suds & it comes out looking brand new! Great construction & (although, mine's an older model)....it's made very well, hold MUCH more than you think it can & wears like iron!

The best thing is the viewable pockets & I always hang mine on the back of the hotel bathroom door hooks 1'st thing....everything's right in sight!

The newest model can be found here:

And for $35.00, it's a steal......
