I think Gillette could be in a decline selling products, and they are seeing more and more people returning to old school straight razors and DE.
Lets face it there is more shops opening up selling brushes soaps and straights, along side with double edge razors so the profits must be way down to say last year....
Even Wade & Butcher opened their site saying as much they will be returning, Lets face the facts who is going to keep buying cartridge blades every months at a whopping £20 for 4 blades. Over 12 months that's £240 a year just to throw away, plus everyone is being forced to go green with the amount of plastic being dumped and coming up on our shores and in the sea.
Yes its a fact straights & DE can all be recycled, but a lot of plastic cannot there is even talks ongoing about going back to glass milk bottles and paper bags. Please note I live in the UK, and we dont have paper bags anymore its all plastic bags.
So could Gillette be trying to say they are starting to go green......
