Does Simpsons sell wee scot knots directly?

I have a Unicorn Horn travel brush I bought awhile ago. I finally got around to reknotting it with a Blankity Blanks 14mm premium knot a month or two ago. Sadly, it's not so "premium". I'd call it pure, and a prickly pure at that. Now I plan to cut that out and put a ground down 16mm TGN Finest (if I can grind it down enough, which I doubt) or a Wee Scot knot in there. So does Simpson sell the knots for less than the brush or am I stuck dropping $50 on the brush to butcher it for the knot if I go that route?

No idea whether the knot is available separately, but FYI it shouldn't be quite $50 if you've got to do that...The Superior Shave has the Wee at $37 shipped.

Not that that's great for a knot. Especially one so wee.

A member offered me his wee scot to Butcher for a price that I figured couldn't be less than Simpsons would charge for the knot after shipping anyway, so hopefully soon I'll be posting pictures of the process.

There was a post from Simpson themselves in a restoration thread that they would re-knot vintage brushes. I don't know what the cost is or if you want to go that route, but it might be worth an email to get an estimate. They claim that they're competitive and I don't see how it could cost more than a new one.

Shipping to and from UK (with insurance... even if it wasn't Verboten to ship this material) and the cost of labor on a $37 brushes knot, I'd be surprised if it was cheaper to have them reknot it actually. But given the material, it was completely out of the question, unfortunately. Something to think about for some of my Vintage Catalin Simpsons though.
