does rose + menthol work?

I live in a humid and hot climate so having the ice-cube effect is really nice. I notice that MB and TSD offer menthol plus to any scent. Do you think that it is possible to have a rose or sandalwood scent and menthol, or would menthol ruin it?

Also do you think mentholated AS is bad for your skin?

While menthol does have a scent of its own once it's dried up it doesn't seem to linger. I've used SCS's Sandalwood splash which has some menthol and after it was dry the lingering scent was pure sandalwood. Similarly, right now I'm using TSD's Lavender & Tea Tree + Menthol and the menthol is only a welcome addition after applying.

TSD offers cheap samples of their stuff, might as well give it a shot!

I think menthol as wonderful as it is, really detracts from any scent, especially from such a beautiful scent rose is

The only way to know is to try. I think amount of menthol will make or break the combo...give them a shot and see what ahappens
