Just got my best straight razor shave ever… BBS. I received a Le Grelot Hospital Theirs from a fellow in Russia. No doubt the razor is excellent but so is the honing job he put on it.
Does Doc226 have a brother in Russia?

It’s just practice, repetition - the more you hone the better you get. One problem is that to get that much practice, you kind of need to like honing.

I just joined the forum and had mentioned I had never gotten a comfortable shave and had been doing my own honing. It was suggested I Pm you to have my blades honed. I tried to PM you but not sure if I did it correctly? I did it by starting a conversation. But if you wouldn't mind getting in touch with me it would be much appreciated.
What does this razor look like in terms of comfort?
