I'm not sure if this material is easy to crack & dirt is obvious, but this is definitely a very interesting collection.
During use, you can even see the blade brand inside directly through the top.

The brown bakelite version is more common, all come from France and none has any kind of a mark.
It's a ghost of a double edge razor.
He would need plastic blades, as well. Not sure how well that would work.
