I find the New Improved to be probably my favourite vintage Gillette. I also own a three piece 15mm NEW De Lux and I've had a few shaves with it, but it feels very harsh and unpleasant and it's definitely the worse NEW model compared to anything else I've used with the Short Comb being the other one, which feels similar, but it's slightly better.
