I have my eye on this brush over at Vintage Blades.

Overall brush height: 98mm
Handle height: 50mm
Brush Loft: 48mm
Knot diameter: 22mm

It's "Super" Silvertip.

Can anyone chime in on pros and cons to this brush? or Rooney's in general?

Yes, it looks like my 3/1 though I have the Coral handle. It's incredibilly soft and dense and many like them. Mine sorta sets on the shelf cuz I like my Vulfix 375S better. But it is a top of the line brush. Wanna buy a lightly used one?

I can't decide how I feel about the handle style 3. I love the 1 and hate the 2, but I'm kind of on the fence about the 3. In terms of size though, definitely prefer the 1. Particularly in Super or Best. Both work incredibly well.

I got a 3/1 "Super" with faux horn handle for christmas. I've only used it once but it was infinitely better than my boar. I'm not experienced enough to compare it to other brushes but I'm very very satisfied with this brush. The handle style was very comfortable and fit very well in my hand and the hairs were very soft and luxurious.

Shortly after lathering with this new one, I rubbed the old boar on my face and it was like I'd been shaving with a broom by comparison.

The 3/1 is the most popular Rooney he sells (faux ivory) and it's very highly regarded on the B&B... might even be the most popular Rooney.
