Docs Edge.

I had sent a razor to Doc so he could experience an Arkansas edge and in return he put a Jnat edge (full progression) on it for me. This is what I wrote to Doc about the edge. He did a great job on it.

Just finished shaving with the Jung.

I didn't bother stropping, you mentioned you already had done it. The edge felt really comfortable but didn't seem to have the keenness I was expecting seeing your HHT video. I did my usual 4 pass shave, no tugging nor pulling at all. ATG was very nice resulting in a near BBS shave.

Now addressing the keenness, it is quite deceiving with the edge being so smooth. I did a HHT of mine own and got a solid 4 with the hair falling as soon as it touched the blade but with a distinct ring to it. The sharpness (keenness) is there is just doesn't seem so when using it.

I've shaved with quite a few different peoples edges, pro and just hobbiest like us. Your edge measures up to any other edge I have tried, pro or not (including my own). As a matter of fact the edge was better than some pro edges I've tried.

Normally I will re-hone most edges that are not my own, not this one, it's a keeper.

Glad you liked it. That edge had some Serious Mojo I can tell while honing it it was coming out well, I tested it and it was very very nice.

Did you hear anything any music in the background while shaving?

Doesn't surprise me at all. I've had a half dozen pro edges on razors I bought. Pro's job is to get you a shaving edge and do it fast. This is business. If they spend 3min slapping your razor on a norton and a couple shaptons, they are performing much better at their job than spending 15+ minutes tuning your edge and making sure it will satisfy you, the way people who do this for their own reasons do. Honestly, I'd send my blades to a guy here who does free honings before I'd send them to a pro, not because of the cost, but because I honestly expect the free honing will give a better edge.

Another endorsement for Doc. He put a JNAT edge on two razors for me. They are super smooth but cut whiskers like a light saber.

Sure. And a guy doing 20+ razors a day obviously can't test the edges like a guy doing one a day, or a week. The pro relies on experience to tell him when an edge is good, and usually that is OK. But we who have been around for a little while know that not all blades are created equal, and you can never be 100% sure until you shave with the thing.
