Do you use a case for your DE when you travel?

I'm not asking about blades or getting it on a plane...I'm curious as to how many of you case your DEs while you travel...and if so, what you case them in!

Post pics if you can.

When we went on vacation last month, I rolled a '61 flair tip SS into a paper towel and put it in my dopp kit. I did the same thing with my brush, except then I put the rolled up brush in a plastic bag. It worked great. In fact, it may protect the razor more than putting it in a some kind of hard case.

Now that I have one, I'll be taking a teeny weeny Tech in it's own little case with me. Tested it for shave-ability, and it woks great, so now I know I can use it traveling. :)

I would travel with my Hoffritz. Already has a tin so I'm good!

I try to use the original case if at all possible. If not, then wrapping it in a paper towel or bubble wrap isn't a bad option either.

I will wrap it in a hankie and put it in a "clamshell" style eyeglass case. Works perfect, keeps the razor snug, and doesn't allow it to bang around.

Reb...you got any pics of the case?

I've been thinking about buying a DE leather case from Jim at Vintage Blades...just curious if any used something similar.

I used the Merkur leather case a couple of weeks ago for my 11c with the blade still inserted and it somehow cut the flap of the case. The case is still useable I'll just take out the blade for travelling.

Jackmormon...good call I like your idea!

Now that I think of it, I have one of those small Oakley sunglass cases around here somewheres...

I usually travel with a no-date-code SuperSpeed or a Ball End Tech. I put the razor diagonally into the small, square cardboard box that came with an MWF puck in it.

I travel with a Feather Portable. It comes in a dinky plastic case just big enough to hold the razor and a few blades.
