Do you select your soaps/pre-shaves/aftershaves depending of the season?

Wee Words of Wisdom
An old saying in Belfast N.Ireland, If you don't like the weather give it 5 minutes. So it means I can wear what I want I'm bound to get the scent right at some stage.

In the Northeast where there are four distinct seasons definitely yes. Spicy, woody fragrances for late Fall and Winter. Citrus, vetiver, greens, salty for Spring and Summer.

That said I keep fragrance for colognes and avoid scent in shaving cream and post shave. I don’t see the point. The cream I use is light mint that dissipates in minutes.

Absolutely. This is prime time for the lilacs where I live, so of course my current aftershave is Lilac Vegetal. I also have a little bit of Williams I'm using up that has a nice fragrance evocative of mosquito repellent and the summer that's on the way.
