do you prefer the crystal or the red's / uk's?

i now have samples of the uk and the crystals and i know i like the red packs. will be testing out the uk version next but what about the crystal. i have a sample here but i would like to know where its thought to stand compared to others? some say = to the labs? some say sharper some say not as good as the reds are. where do the crystals stand for you? just out of curiosity here wondering how popular they still are with people.

i did read the thread by wcs about the variations bu i think it just confused the issue more lol.

I have crystals but I don't use them very often. I will use the red wrapped Personna much more often for some reason. Been so long I don't know why either

Four times I tried the red and each time I was unsatisfied. The blue (Crystal, Super Platinum+, Israeli Blue) is one of my favorite blades.

which is the sharper of the two and which is smoother? can you decribe the crystal compared to anything else? i know what the reds are like but never used a crystal ...yet...

The reds always felt very harsh to me. As if they had been used for a week before I got them. I'd love to see them under the microscope, before and after use.

Ah, the blues. I love the blues! They feel smooth as butter on my skin. Very comfortable. And they can last up to seven days for me. Certainly a different grind from their red stablemates.

Sharpness. All blades are sharp. Any one might draw some blood at any stroke. Finding one that doesn't bite? Ahh ...
