Do you have a preferred edge length?

My SRs have edge lengths varying from about 60mm to a bit over 70mm. Although I very much enjoy shaving with all of my SRs, I seem to slightly favour those with a shorter edge length of about 60mm to 63mm. I don't know why, just a personal thing.

Somewhere in the neighborhood of 65mm is my sweet spot, creates fewer problems navigating my neck.

No general preference for me, I do enjoy the shorter, shoulder less razors at times - as they feel nimble.

45-50mm. And yes, the ones I have in that length range are all kamisoris.

Most of my SRs are around 2 3/4" (70 mm), but I have a Jerry Stark custom razor that is a full 3" (76 mm). I have to be very careful when using that razor to be fully aware of the tip. Otherwise, I might slice my ear or nose. An extra 1/4" does not seem like much, but it can be treacherous if I get careless.

No real preference in length but strong preference in width.

Longer than 'short' is good for me.

I only have one straight razor, which is about 65mm, but I am 99.99% sure, I would LOVE a symmetrical kamisori with an edge of about 45mm. Basically a DE sized razor length.
