Do you ever use your "other" brushes and give your favorite a break?

I do have favorite brushes that I really enjoy using. I also have some brushes I bought early in my wet shaving experience that I wish I didn't buy as I could have put that money towards a better brush. Actually those brushes helped me to appreciate my favorites. That said, I rotate between my favorite boar and badger brushes depending on whether I am face lathering or bowl lathering, the size of the container for loading, the consistency of the soap. I guess I'm saying I try to use the best tool for the job. When I have the most time and really want to enjoy the experience, I pull out my favorite lather hog and a great soap like MdC and make it a memorable experience.
I have 3 Omega boars and 1 Vie-Long Horse in my usual rotation. I usually use one till I get tired it, sometimes that is a few weeks or a few months, whatever strikes my fancy 
I have my favorites. But I never mention it around the other brushes. Too psychologically damaging.
I have teensy weensy ear plugs for my brushes so they never hear what I say about them
