I just can't bring myself to wear a fragrance that I associate with a former relationship. Is this strange, weird, or understandable?
In the spirit of B&B discussion I'll take this in another direction. Fragrances I wear don't make me feel guilty but it did make me a little squeamish when I had to sit in a meeting with someone wearing the same scent as a previous girlfriend. I could not focus at all. It was an incredible and unique scent. She (the client) is the only other person I've ever smelt it on besides the ex.

If the woman was as good as the scent she wouldn't be an ex. No point in losing a good scent.

Clinique Happy. Anytime I smell it on any woman, it triggers some intense memories of a past relationship that I'd like to forget. I've even had an embarrassing situation where my teenage step daughter wanted to buy it and I had to tell my wife that she couldn't get it. A really uncomforatble conversation ensued....
