What's new

Do you dress you razor when you travel?

Just wondering, when you're on the road or traveling how many of you use some kind of case or pouch for your razor? If so what do you use and are you satisfied with it? I use a brown Dopp bag. Its kinda big and bulky but it gets the job done.

Last year I just tossed them into the DOPP and regretted it.

This year I have a Weishi case that will hold my 37c

I swear Turtle must have a 10 terabyte hard drive to store all of his photos of his razor on.

I use a small dopp kit and put my items in there.

I traveled this past weekend and I use the Edwin Jagger black leather case for my DE89:

I put it in a pretty standard black leather Dopp kit bag like this:

I wrap it in a piece of terry cloth indeed.

I do now. I have a habit of not taking out the blade unless it's time to bin it. I got a case after the first time I opened my Dopp to see a clean slice into a tube of toothpaste.

I just got back from a trip and I enjoyed the benefits of having a CASED 1934 Aristocrat. That and using a shave stick made traveling super easy.

I have used this very makeshift carrier for the old traveling Fatboy for some years .. works with a blade in or not,

Above was cribbed from someone here I believe, circa 2009 .. it just works, as don't want the Fat Boy compressed into an Altoids tin ..

This is genius!

Haven't done something this for my razor but I've rigged something similar for my brush. A cleaning lady at a hotel threw out a box I kept my brush in so I improvised the day we were to leave by cutting two water bottles in half and using the 2 lower halves to make a case. Basically it looked like a giant pill with a brush in it. I was quite proud of myself

I was fortunate to purchase this Muhle Pinsel case for travel from a B&B member. This has since been discontinued.
