DIY Linen strop with linen from Tony Miller .

I bought the linen from TM, and per his advice, I bought the hardware at my local Tandy store:

Here is hanging in the wall:

I updated the hardware in my black latigo leather strop with the same pieces from Tandy, and added the paracord "handle" at the end:

I've been seein a lot of the natural linen lately. I'll need to get some and try it. I mostly use the Hess Milk strop.
 
Very nice. I find the natural linen works really well.
Thanks Kent. That is the linen strop that I want to try with the 0.125u CBN spray I ordered. Right now my plan is to leave one side of the linen "as is", and the other side with the .125u CBN spray and see how it works out.

You might want to dab just a tiny amount of white glue to the cut edges to stop fraying.
