DIY Aftershave experience

Been doing a trial of a homemade aftershave that my wife made for me. I ventured out after seeing the prices of aftershave splashes that are literally alcohol, scent, and water.

The ingredients are as follows:
-witch hazel (dickinson's)
-vitamin e serum
-fractionated coconut oil
-small amount of glycerin
-essential oils of orange, lemon, cedarwood, and a citrus blend

So far the scent and performance are great. No sticky or oily feel and my skin is clear.

Gonna give it a few more weeks before declaring it a true winner.

So far so good.

We had a lot of trouble finding a good bottle with a restrictor like A and E aftershave so we settled on a green glass bottle with dropper. Works well.

Only downside is separation. Have to shake it up well before use.

That's very cool, what is the Vitamin E serum that you used? I tried to make something similar but feel like its missing something.

Almost two weeks in and no irritation with great healing recovery. A little goes a long way so if you put too much on it may leave a slight oily feel that soaks in in a few seconds. A bonus is that it has kept the old no shave November beard soft and healthy as well. This recipe is a keeper.
