Disposable in an emergency?

I would like to believe we are all prepared with all the necessary shaving items required to give us that excellent shave. However, I can't help but think that there is that ONE time we forget something and have to run for a disposable Which one would you grab?

I may forget my cell phone on the bumper of my truck but when it comes to shaving, I never forget anything. In a pinch I guess one would have to suffer through a disposable shave...


*yes I phone the phone two hours later in the middle of an intersection and to my surprise it only had a tiny scratch, no one ran it over*

I hear the closet thing to a de in disposables is a bic metal(single blade). Only trouble is i haven't seen em for sale anywhere.

I would go with the BIC Metal however I can't find them in stores any longer. If you must use a disposable the BIC Sensitive is a great choice. I've gotten BBS shaves with them.

Bic Metal is the disposable that most closely resembles DE shaving in terms of performance IMHO. I can't find them in stores either, so I invested in a dozen 5-packs on Amazon. They are my travel razors.

The Bic Classic yellows are the disposables I use if I have to use one. I've gotten BBS with em without the irritation.
