Display Case Picture Update

Well boys and girls, I have been collecting vintage Gillette razors for a little over a year now. I have really enjoyed buying and selling razors with all the wonderful members here on B&B. I have met and dealt with a lot of nice people here. I wanted to show a few updated pictures of my display cases. I know how much we all enjoy pictures of our latest find and re-stored items. So here are a few, I hope you enjoy them. Thanks again to all of the great members and Moderators here on B&B for letting me be a part of it.

I have always been able to get a good picture of the big case. It has always been harder to get a good picture of the smaller one. I took a few of the razors out of the case and I think it made for a better picture.

How many have I shaved with... some of the razors in the collection are NOS so I wasn't going to be the first. I...like many other B&B members have shaved with a lot of the razors you see in the cases. As far my favorites, I like shaving with a three piece open comb, ABC Pocket, Bulldog, big thanks to Ray "thirdeye", Single Ring and Old Type....as far as looking at, all of them! But, if I had to pick one to look at I think it would be the President, big thanks to "Ambrose". I'm not sure why, maybe because it is my birthday razor, it sure is a beautiful piece.

Well, now that is something! :w00t:

Words can't describe how amazing your collection is for just a short time period.

Congratulations on a fantastic collection. Very, very fine.

Now the obvious question: how many have you shaved with, and which have become your favourites?

Ok, after I took a few minutes to wipe the drool off my keyboard... all I can say is... WOW!! In one year?? This is a beautiful collection.

You sir, are a man who knows what he wants. And apparently, its every d.e. razor that has ever been produced in the finest condition available. Your collection is awe inspiring. I can only imagine what your collection will look like in 20 years. You ever see those houses that are turned into museums that are packed to the rafters with everything that a particular company ever made? When they do the interview with the gentlemen or lady who is the caretaker of the place, they can tell you where they got it, how much it cost, and if applicable, a memorable story about who they acquired it from. That sir, may be you in the future, and I admire every aspect of that. Bravo!:em2400::em2100::em2200:

very very nice, Joe.

and now - how about some pics of your Schick collection?

Your GEM/Every-Ready collection?

Your brush collection?

AND YOUR VINTAGE SOAP COLLECTION?????

Seriously - a beautiful collection. Congrats, man.

Wow!!! That is a very impressive collection. Thanks for sharing

Has the added advantage that I could show SWMBO and tell her that acquiring 8 razors in three months wasn't obsessive!
