In the interest of fairness, it should be noted that the price was increased a long time ago. As you already stated, $40 is practically a giveaway, but at its currrent price point, different competition enters into the equation.

Nice review John, I actually prefer the 6215 Omega (green and gold handle) over the Elegant brush, but that being said, I would purchase either of these Omega brushes over the SR-208(at this price point) hands down.

If you check the prices now, 6215 is at 60 bucks while elegant is at 80 bucks.

Wow, that makes the Elegant purchasers look even smarter.

I don't have both to make a comparison, but the 6215 is a nice brush, and a lot better than my SR208. I still would have liked to score a $40 Elegant.........

For those interested in buying this brush for <$80:

At the moment, the Elegant is still listed as $59.95 on Perfect Beauty's website. Obviously not as good a deal as the original $40 asking price, but still better than the $80 price tag if you go through Amazon. My guess would be that it's only a matter of time before they change it to match their Amazon price.

Also, John/letterk posted a 10% off coupon for Perfect Beauty in the shopping forum which may further reduce the price.
