Discuss review of Feather AC

Doc - nice review of the Feather. I have an RG and I am also a big fan of them. I will jump in there with a review to follow yours!:thumbup1:

Great review! I have often thought about buying either an AC or an RG, but found Classic's (after all they have a monopoly) prices almost obscene. Too bad, I bet there is a large number of gents who would enjoy these tools if they were price more in line with what they are.

There was a group buy of the Japanese style Feather AC, $125 shipped. I got in on that one. There must be other sources.

We can use this as a discussion thread for my recent review of the Feather AC. http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showthread.php?t=18616

I have an ebony western style and an eastern style with a second eastern coming from the group buy on SMF. I find the eastern style to be more maneuverable than the traditional western style.

The blade smoothness can be improved by corking the blade. When I do this I get great shaves starting with the first shave. If I don't, the first few shaves are harsh. I use the Super Pro blades.

I had heard of this, and one day will give it a try ...
