Discontinued L'Occitane Cade after shave splash

recently sold for $95.43 on the Bay. This used to sell for around $30.00 when it was still sold. Given the demand, I can't think of a better reason for L'Occitane to bring this product back to market.

It was and is still my favorite splash, but not for almost $100... The last to bottles I bought cost me $25 each.

I read here a while ago that one of the reasons for discontinuing it was the inability to secure a steady source of Cade oil in large quantities.

I wish it would make a comeback.

Hi Baron,

No, I know L'Occitane couldn't sell it for that much. My point was that they were making money selling it at $30.00, and there's still a strong demand for it. I know they've resurrected other products in the past, and there is strong evidence that this would be a good candidate for review.

My local L'occitane store owner is still stunned by the decision to discontinue the Cade splash. He says that even today, three or four times a week customers will ask for that fantastic aftershave - and leave empty-handed once they've reluctantly tried the disappointment that is the Verdon replacement splash.

I was lucky enough to grab a couple of bottles back in the days, but they won't last forever. I'd give up pretty much any other shaving product just to get that aftershave back into production.

I agree. I've got about 75% of my current bottle left with two reserves. I hate using it anymore, since I know there's no more when it's gone.
