Difference Between "Super Adjustable" And "Slim"?

So, what are the differences?

What are your shaving experiences? Is one more aggressive than another?

Not much difference, but just enough to feed my RAD?

Please share your thoughts.

Regards,

David

I only own a Super Adjustable but from what I have read and researched they have the same adjustable agressivness. The only differences are in thier construction.

I understand from http://wiki.badgerandblade.com/index.php/Double-Edged_Safety_Razors_Ranked_by_Aggressiveness that the Super Adjustable at 1 is less aggressive than the Slim Adjustable at 1.

No experience with it myself, I only have a Slim Adjustable.

I hadn't seen the table of gap sizes before but I do have both and would concur that the Super is milder than the Slim but only by a click. I think the Slim may prove to be almost as iconic as the Fatboy in time and hence the price increase and rarity compared to the Super.

I agree. The Super is slightly less aggressive than the Slim. But, the only way to judge for yourself is to get all three ... the Slim, the short handle Super and the long handle Super.

I have all the adjustables and use all four. I have them all set on 3. Use same brand blade in all. I realy dont see much if any difference in any of them. Maybe if i used them on a higher setting i would see a difference. On low setting they are very close to the same.

The long handle super has a different feel and shave experience because of the long handle. I like the way it feels in my hands, but I also keep my slim, Fat Boy and toggle in the rotation!

Now just stop it right there, I was nice and happy with my three adjustables and you have to go and say the long handle super shaves different to the short one.
