Difference Between Simpson 2-Band and Manchurian?

I'm planning to do a special order from Simpson. I want a 2-band brush. What's the difference between the regular Simpson 2-band and the Manchurian?

I'll be interested in responses from those who've tried both. My only Simpsons 2-band is Manchurian (Jubilee), and it's pretty sweet, but I haven't tried any other Simpsons 2-band.

i haven't tried a Manchurian, but from the friends who have, the individual bristles are thicker than the ones used in the 2-bands. Also, the Manchurian hair has more backbone and more "scrubby" as opposed to the 2-band hair which is extremely soft with less backbone than the Manchurian hair. i am sure someone who had tried both can confirm this or provide more detail. Hi, I have the M7 in both Manchurian and 2 Band.

The Manchurian is a fan shape, whereas the 2 band is a bulb shape knot. The Manchurian hair is thicker, more springy, more densely packed and has more scrub. Neither brush has scritch. The 2 band is less packed, more flow through however has gel like tips. Some people like the gel tips, however I feel it removes feedback.

Personally, I like the Manchurian better. I really do think Simpson have nailed this hair. The M7 Manchurian would have to be my favorite brush out of about 30. I get the damn this is a great brush feeling every time I use it.

I honestly think the 2 band super is a nicer hair. I think it has better backbone than the manchurian. The main difference between the two grades is that the manchurian comes in a fan shape, and the 2 band in a bulb shape. I really do not care for bulb shapes. Now if they could put a fan on that 2 band, it would be a killer breed.
