Various people asked me when I was younger, when I had a 'stache, why I shaved the middle groove. Don't they understand that sometimes hair doesn't grow as thick there? A kid in college once asked why I had a "space" there..lol.
Did anyone ever ask why you shave the middle of your moustache?

It's a genetic thing some guys just naturally have a gap, same with the connecting hair between the beard and stache, and the hair right around the soul patch, very common places to be a little patchy. Some guys will shave these areas to get a more youthful look or just because they like the look of it, or because they feel it doesn't come in strong enough in those areas . All beard are different, just rock what you got!
