Did a Silver Tech Come in a Red & Black Case

The title says it all. Was a Silver tech available in a red and black case or was it a Gold New open comb? Or, both?

I have only seen the Red and Black case with a New.

i believe there is such a combo for sale on the site that shall not be mentioned; i notified the seller of the mismatch; his reply "that's the way i found it". i'd like to know where he finds vintage razors and cases. was he just walking along and oh- there's a razor and case on the street, i think i'll pick it up; or did he go into a public bathroom and just happened to find a red and black case with a silver tech sitting on top of a urinal. i wanna know where to go find these things.

I know what you mean, I think, some guys just seem to find an endless supply of vintage razors whereas some of us, me included, cannot seem to find one decent one anywhere.

Until I get confirmation about the Silver Tech, I'll hold off on it.

AsylumGuido's reply in this thread says that some red and black sets may have come with Tech razors in them. But I doubt very much that it would be a silver tech. It should be gold, if indeed it held a tech originally.

interesting thread; didn't know techs may have come with red and black cases; did know about a lot of the variation in news that came with them.
