I know (or actually, I don't). But the thing is... I 'need' to measure the number of shaves it would have delivered. So you can call me crazy, but I'll continue on this weird path.

Gillette 7o'clock SS (green) (1st) (88th blade), De Vergulde Hand (puck), De Vergulde Hand (balm)
Changed blades and found out it was due. What a difference: feels different and gives a better endresult. Took the risk of shaving my entire chin and it worked just fine. No more weepers.

An entire weekend of excellent shaves. This morning, I even limited myself to 1,0 passes. Fine but 1,1 makes a huge difference after all.
I planned to do a faster rotation this time, 5 shaves each. But having been absent here, I've already reached 41 with the De Vergulde Hand. So, why not 6 shaves each? Or 7 and leave 8 for the next round? Think I'll do that.

Yet another excellent shave.
I've decided to take this rotation to 8 shaves, leaving 7 at the following turn. Primarily because I have to rise very early tomorrow and don't want to ruin returning to Tabac under time pressure.
And this morning, when I was done shaving, I loaded my brush two times on the remaining Delftse Donderslag. Still some soap left in the bowl.

Returning to Tabac. Rather happy, looking forward to 8 days of Tabac. Curious what the AS will do to my skin, compared to the balms I've been using recently.
The Gillette is still performing surprisingly well. Still, I might consider changing blades one of these days.
I finally managed to empty my bowl that held the remains of the Scheermonnik Delftse Donderslag sample. (Not using it though)

Personna Platinum (red) (3rd) (89th blade), Tabac soap (glass jar), Tabac AS
So I finally decided to give the Personna blades another go. When I first used them, I didn't like the blades. For me, they behaved like barking dogs: aggressive without biting. Well, I do get it. But it no longer applies. I now appreciate their sharpness. I even enjoy their noisiness. So this tuck gets back into rotation.

What's there to say? A standard 1,1 passes shave with a great product, enjoyed the process, got a fine end result.
I've more or less stuck to this same 1,1 passes routine for some time now. It's like a 10-step suite of area-shaving direction combinations to follow.
Which makes me curious: when and why will I start experimenting with modifications?

The Personna is still performing well. The Tabac just continues to amaze me. Yet, tomorrow will be the last day of Tabac for some time to come. I'll 3017 the Scheermonnik 1778 Beau Brummel sample first before returning to Wilkinson after so many weeks. Curious what that'll feel like. But first: Tabac and 1778.

This morning, I kind of forgot I was going to 3017 the Beau Brummel. Instead I turned to the next in rotation: Wilkinson. After one day I'm already pretty sure: once this tub will be empty, I won't buy another one. The lather is fine, but the smell is strong (as Tabac), very outspoken (as Tabac) and not really my cuppa (contrary to Tabac).

Ditched the Personna though it might have performed well for a few more shaves. Happily returning to Voskhod. I know not everyone is a fan of these blades, but I sure am.
