I really like MWF, bloom for a few minutes, load with soaked brush, make a little hole in top of brush and add a little Proraso cream then face lather. Quick easy, no mess, great scent, excellent lather. Best of both worlds.

Obviously, there is more than one way to get good lather from MWF. I don't use any special voodoo tricks. Just do not add too much water too soon. First, load the soap generously on a damp brush, to get a soap paste. Load for a longer time than average. Face lather the soap paste. Add water gradually in stages. Here is where you can go wrong by adding too much water all at once. Just add water gradually, two or three times until the lather develops a snooth sheen. Now, you are ready to shave.
