Dewey Razor Company?

Hi!

I'm new to all of this so please excuse any misinformation that I may have. I've been attempting to find some information on a straight razor that I currently have in my possession. It's a folding straight razor with a cream/ivory colored handle. The tang says that it was made by the Dewey Razor Co in Germany, and the blade has a World's Fair 1893 etching (with the globe symbol not the etching of the fairgrounds). I can't seem to find anything about the Dewey Razor Co and was just wondering if any of you knew anything or knew of where I could find any information?

Here's a picture of the blade:

Thank you for your help!

Think you got the wrong picture unless it is a picture of what you will write out the check for the razor with.

Okay. Trying this again with the actual picture!

As you may be able to determine from the answers you've received on other forums where you have posted the same question, this is a fairly common razor, probably late 1800's.
There were tons of razors made with the Worlds Fair theme, so not a rarity.
Welcome to B&B, hope you're here for more than just the identification! :w00t:
