Dermalogica Post Shave Balm

I recently discovered this balm at a Dermalogica stand from their 'shave' range. The description makes specific reference to minimising ingrown hairs primarily because it contains salicylic acid. It's also known to be good for irritated skin and calming razor burn and is marketed for 'dry skin'.

Can anyone who owns it/has tried it vouch for this product? Picture below for reference:

I've tried this today. It is cooling, soothing and smells great. It has a matte finish and it made my skin look healthy.

Cool, thanks for the response! I have since got a couple of official samples from Dermalogica but I am underwhelmed. Did you use it with a moisturiser as it states on the pack?

I didn’t use it with a moisturizer. I just shaved, splashed on some Polar Ice, and then applied the Dermalogica after shave balm. My face didn’t feel tight or dry at all.

OK, thanks. That's actually really helpful. Maybe it was the state of my face at the time that meant it didn't work for me.

Dermalogica makes great products, but in my opinion they are generally overpriced. I am particularly fond of their deo.

They can be had at great discounts online here in the UK. So I am not complaining. I've never paid retail for them.
