Derby Single Edge Razor Blade

I am new to SE, and hence, one stupid question.

It is possible to load the Derby Single Edge Razor Blade into Ever-Ready 1912?

No. The Derby blade you refer to is used in straight-razor type razors that use disposable blades. What you need is a single-edge blade that has a reinforced backing on one side. You can get them at most drug stores, or you can order them from any number of places.

The blade you're referring to is basically a split DE blade. The Ever-Ready needs a blade that looks like this

Next question, can someone please give me a link where can I get the blades online? and any advice on the brand(s) I should particularly concentrate on? I am now in New Zealand, and I have real problem in getting the blade.

There has been recent talk of the blades having problems . These are the ones I normally use and were purchased through a group buy here. The blades that are available here at Walgreens in the States are available at http://alice.com.
