derby shave soap

I bought derby shave cup soap ,worked well good lather etc. but the smell nasty! need to find some kind of aroma to add !

Leave the lid off
like arko it softens down a bit if left open.
another trick i've heard is to put an essential oil in with the grated puck
i have the derby stick and haven't had any problems with it.
